  • Afternoon Muhurat: From 1:31 PM to 9:07 PM
  • Pradosh Muhurat: From 5:53 PM to 8:10 PM

This year, auspicious yogas like Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, Shobhan Yoga, and Ravi Yoga will be present on the day of Rakshabandhan. Tying Rakhi during these auspicious yogas will strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters. This will bring happiness and prosperity to their homes.

Bhadra Period during Rakshabandhan 2024

According to Hinduism, It is good to avoid Bhadra for all auspicious works to prevent any harm. The Bhadra period is  inauspicious because during this period Ravana’s sister tied a Rakhi to his wrist. And within a year, he was destroyed. Therefore, sisters should tie Rakhi after the Bhadra period to ensure their brothers’ long life.

This year, the Bhadra period on Rakshabandhan will be from 5:53 AM to 1:31 PM. This year, the Bhadra period will reside in Patal Lok, so it will not be highly inauspicious. However, it is still advisable to celebrate Rakshabandhan after the Bhadra period ends.
